1. Precautions for cable preparation and laying
The design length of the cable should reserve a margin of 5%-10% for spare lines during later cable installation and maintenance. Considering the thermal expansion and contraction of the cable, the direct buried cable should be buried in a wavy shape.
2. Specifications for the use of cable protection tubes
The cables must be covered with protective tubes in the following situations: entering and exiting the house, passing through walls and floors, leading from underground to electric poles, and being close to the wall within 2 meters from the ground or buried less than 0.3 meters underground. The inner diameter of the tube must be thicker than the cable, at least 1.5 times the outer diameter of the cable.
3. Rules for layered arrangement of cables in cable trenches or cable bridges
When placing multiple cables together in trenches or on cable bridges, remember to layer them according to voltage and purpose: power cables on top, control and signal cables in the middle, and communication cables on the bottom; when there is not enough space, power cables below 35KV and power and control cables below 1KV can be placed in one layer; spare cables of important cables can be separated for fire protection and placed in different layers.
4. Requirements for cable burial depth
When cables are directly buried in frozen soil areas, they should be buried below the frozen soil layer. When they are directly buried in non-frozen soil areas, the distance between the cable sheath and the foundation of underground structures shall not be less than 0.3 meters, and the distance from the ground shall not be less than 0.7 meters. When buried under roads or cultivated land, the depth shall not be less than 1 meter.
5. Requirements for reliable grounding of cable metal parts
The metal casing, metal protective sleeve and metal bracket of the cable should be reliably grounded.
